Fork Lift Trucks
Transport Training Services can offer a range of training for drivers of Forklift Trucks and associated machinery. Training is available in Counter Balance and Reach trucks and is delivered in a purpose built training area in Nutts Corner.
We have a dedicated enclosed area with racking systems that simulates the actual working environment. Videos and lectures are used to teach the theory of Safe Driving and Health & Safety in relation to Forklift Truck driving. Training is available on site at the
customer's premises if requested.
TTS instructors are qualified to Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR) standards.

At Nutts Corner
- 1 day Refresher (max. 3 operators) - Certificate holders.
- 3 day Full Course (max. 3 operators) - Novice Level
In-company
- 1 day Refresher (max. 3 operators) - Certificate holders
- 2 day Full Course (max. 3 operators) - Novice Level
On-site training is also available for the following types of equipment:
- Electric Pallet Trucks / Power Movers
- York Movers
Hi-ab Lorry Loader
Transport Training Services can provide training for lorry mounted cranes used predominantly but not exclusively in the construction industry. Training is conducted at Nutts Corner using a Volvo Truck fitted with Hi-ab attachment.
Training takes place over three days and is to ITSSAR standards. Trainees are taught the safe operation of the lorry mounted crane with three attachments; Block Grab, Clam Shell and Hook. A maximum of three trainees can be taught at a time.
