CPC Freight & Passenger
The CPC is an essential qualification for individuals or companies seeking to obtain a DOE Operator's Licence to permit the carriage of Freight or Passengers on a commercial basis or for hire and reward. It is also well suited to individuals who are seeking to embark on a career in Transport Management.
4 separate CPC qualifications are available:
- OCR Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage
- OCR Certificate of Professional Competence in National Passenger Transport
- OCR Certificate of Professional Competence in International Road Haulage
- OCR Certificate of Professional Competence in International Passenger Haulage

By the end of the course the student will be able to understand the elements of management required in every subject for the examinations and have an appreciation of the full range of management skills required to be a Transport Manager
CPC courses and examinations run on a quarterly basis out of our Nutts Corner Training Centre.
For CPC Freight and Passenger National qualifications three examinations have to be completed. These are two multiple choice papers and a case study / extended answer paper.
For CPC Freight and Passenger International qualifications one examination must be completed. This is a short response type examination
